What to Say in Blog and What Not to Say

There is an article in NY Times discussing cases when bloggers have been fired due to things what they have posted on their blogs. I think it's an interesting issue where one's employee life ends and private life starts. Are comments about job private or public when published on internet, and can somebody be fired for being too critcal or not loyal to employer?
