3 observations while driving between Estonia and Latvia

As it can be guessed from the title, last weekend we drove by car from Estonia to Latvia and then back again. 3 observations from the road:
1. Mõisaküla (Latvians call it Meizakila), a tiny Estonian town close to border to Latvia, is a place with very-very positive people! Visit it, if you have any chance! Just stop and have a small walk - people are just amazingly open-minded and often smiling! The town has also very small, but nice museum with very enthusiastic museum administrator (or director perhaps???).
2. FM-radio in north Vidzeme is strange. After entering Latvia even for 50-100 km our car radio still couldn't catch any of Latvian FM stations, but continued to find Estonian ones, which had worse and worse quality, but obviously still stronger signals. Even in Valmiera and Cēsis towns, one Estonian and none of Latvian radio stations were found. I don't think that there is any problem with our radio, it has been working fine and normally searching for stations all the time. Finally I got some Latvian stations by manual tuning, but signal was still week.

3. Be careful when driving after 18.30 - it's difficult to understand who is standing on the road - hitchhiker, kissing couple or a suicide committer. Dear hitchhiker, use reflectors when hitchhiking in the dark!!!
